Hi,

Now i am on the subject of improvements, we have some weird issues when exporting a template. We use a lot of combinations of fields and use both regexes, spaces, spaces in regexes and somehow i found some weird behaviour that when i reimport a template, it doesnt always use the right order, but also randomly spaces are left out, i even had a rule not reimporting for instance.

Do you have a foolproof way of backing up these templates? So we get EXACTLY the same results? Can we take a backup of certain db tables or files that are easily restored?

We have a quite complex set of rules as mentioned before and as you MAY have seen :p

Soon i could provide you with a test environment if you want to test the behaviour in our case, because i understand this is a bit of a vague problem. We are now still in the process of adding the missing rule and verifying

Backing up CSVI tables is one way to restore the templates. You can backup #___csvi_rules, #__csvi_templatefields, #__csvi_templatefields_rules and #__csvi_templates tables for moving template, template fields and rules.

Yes please send us the details. You can post it on Site Details tab under your reply. We can check the issue with the template restore.
Kind regards,

Tharuna
