Joomla 3.7.3
Virtuemart 3.2.12
CSVi 7.4.1

I'm trying to back up the CSVi templates on one installation to move them over to another, but I can't get it to work at all.

  • If I choose a destination of 'Download', when the job finishes I'm not prompted to download the files.

  • If I choose Save on server and leave it at it's default path, when it finishes it tells me where to find the xml file, but the file isn't there.

  • If I choose Save on server and choose a path, when it finishes it ignores my path and tells me the file is at the default path.

edit - I've worked around my specific issue - the com_csvi folder was missing from tmp (I had to manually create it), so the file is now there when I try the second method. The other two methods are still not behaving as expected.

Hello,
If I choose a destination of 'Download', when the job finishes I'm not prompted to download the files.

Try checking the download with another browser. This could be because of the settings of the browser you are using to download.

If I choose Save on server and choose a path, when it finishes it ignores my path and tells me the file is at the default path.

This is a known issue and has been fixed. The fix will be included in our next release. You can load the attached patch file and check if its working for you.

Hi Tharuna,
I've been jumping through hoops trying to fix issues following the Windows 10 update and noticed that the download started working again after a reboot. Sorry to trouble you with it.
Thanks for the patch.
