Resolved automatically added to articles

I'm trying to fix a problem where <hr id="system-readmore"> tag is being added at the beginning of every single article, which is causing problems with filtering dynamic content.

How can I ensure my import does not include this?
I have left 'introtext' blank, and in another case not even included it in the import headers, and still seems to add the read more.
