Hi!

The export of Joomla Content was running very well. After import into my dev-site the assignment of categories is missing. Every imported content is now assigned to "uncategorized" Is the a way that they keep their assigned category setting?

Another question can i merge with your component two Joomla installations or Shops?

Many thx...

Hello Nadine,

The categories in your export file, are they created in your dev site? If CSVI does not find the category it will assign to default category which is "uncategorized". Post your import file and debug log so i can check. To know on how to get the debug log check How to get debug information? document.

Another question can i merge with your component two Joomla installations or Shops?

If you mean to export and import data from one shop to another then it is possible. Tell us which data you are trying to merge and we can lead you with documents to be followed.
Kind regards,

Tharuna
