I get an 'Access to the RO CSVI script is blocked' for the rantai.php script. I'm using Admin Tools and had it generate a hardened .htaccess file, so it's quite likely that's causing the problem. Unfortunately Admin Tools has about a kazillion settings. Do you by any chance know which settings are involved and must be adjusted?

I managed to figure out what the problem was in my situation. I also had .htaccess/.htpasswd protection on the administrator. This prevents direct access to any file below the administrator folder. Exceptions set in Admin Tool's .htaccess maker have no effect on the .htaccess in the administrator folder. After removing that file, the exception worked as expected. This as simple as adding the rantai.php script as an exception in the 'Server protection' section of Admin Tool's .htaccess maker.

Yes admin tools should be the problem.

I cannot specifically say about settings but you can check the blocked list and see if RO CSVI folder with path administrator/components/com_csvi/ is in the blocked list. Whitelist it and you should be good.
Kind regards,

That's unfortunate. I am using Admin Tools 7.0.5 in Joomla 4.0.3. The settings for generation of a hardened .htaccess file allows exclusion of individual files and folders from the default script locking mechanism. I excluded both folder /administrator/components/com_csvi/rantai and file /administrator/components/com_csvi/rantai/rantai.php, but it does not solve the problem.

Hello,
The settings for generation of a hardened .htaccess

As mentioned in this hardened .htaccess file we do not know which of the setting is blocking RO CSVI. But what we know is that RO CSVI works with default .htaccess file which comes with Joomla installation. You can try the import/export using Joomla default htaccess file.
