Hello. First of all, I wanted to report an issue with your site. When I attempted to buy RO CSVI the first time, it was blocked due to it being an international charge. However, the new account was still created. But now it's in limbo - "not activated," can't sign in or use the same information - because your system must activate accounts after a completed payment, but likely makes the account beforehand. This caused me to have to make two accounts. If possible, I'd like the first deleted.

Regardless, I'm here due to a 500 Server issue I'm having. I've exhausted every step in your "500 server error" information page, all to no avail. I'd be happy to supply you with the "server logs" you request, if you can tell me what you mean by that. Apache logs show nothing, nor does my /var/logs/error.log, nor my system log. Please note that I'm running this locally, however, I initially had this problem on my client's shared hosting server. Both cases are fresh installations of the latest Joomla (4.1.2) and RO CSVI (8.2.0).

I've attached a sample of the CSV (attempted in multiple formats), and the log from my most recent Import attempt.

*Edit: I've also tried many of the fixes on this forum, such as disabling cache, SEF links, and PHP.ini alterations.

Hello,
I can only assume it wasn’t activated because the payment failed,

Yes that should be the case.

I was not aware of this, but upon checking their site, it seems you’re right. I’d like to continue running Joomla 4, as I’ve had no other issues. Perhaps if you cannot figure out what’s going on with RO CSVI and this update, I could create the database on Joomla 3.10 and then attempt an upgrade. I look forward to your reply.

Found the cause for 500 error and fixed it with the attached patch file. Please load the patch file from RO CSVI Maintenance page and try the import again. See if it finishes without any problem.

Not sure why your first account was not activated. We will delete the first account as per your request.

I am able to reproduce the 500 error with VirtueMart and Joomla 4 installation. Just so you know VirtueMart is not ready for Joomla 4 yet. It is possible to have errors with VirtueMart imports/exports on Joomla 4. I will update you on what is causing the 500 error.
Kind regards,

Tharuna

Thanks a lot! The patch fixed the issue and I was able to import a few 10K+ line spreadsheets without any issues. :D
