Hello,
Yes, you can export XML for VirtueMart products using RO CSVI. Please check VirtueMart Product export document for video. The video shows export of CSV file but with settings in export template you can export the data in XML format.

You can also check the export on our demo server using example templates. Let me know if you have any more questions.
Kind regards,

Tharuna

I didn't find how I can see or set the folder where export the scheduled file. I downloaded the file without problems, but I need a public link for it.
Thank you

Hi, thanks for the prompt reply. Great, I was able to export Virtuemart Products as XML on your demo server.

One more question please: The CDATA Tag what is for? There wouldn't be a problem if will not use them, right?
can I use the exported XML file to import it into a WordPress WooCommerce site?

Thanks in advance

Hello,
One more question please: The CDATA Tag what is for? There wouldn't be a problem if will not use them, right?

CDATA is a special tag to tell the system to read the content inside it as plain text and not as XML data. This is necessary in case the content has some special characters. Like the character & and ;, they are read as part of the content and not as XML data. Using the CDATA tag or not depends on the data you have. The XML file will be considered not valid if there are special characters in content and if you do not wrap it in CDATA tag.

can I use the exported XML file to import it into a WordPress WooCommerce site?

We do not support WordPress or WooCommerce to say on how the XML can be used. All we can do is help you with RO CSVI export to get the XML file.
Kind regards,

Tharuna
