Resolved Updating some products bt csv import

Hi,
In a virtuemart shop there are 3000 products and I want to test updating products custom fileds by importing a csv.
My plan is to create a few test products with custom filelds, an export and an import template and see if/how these test products can be imported.
My question is, if I import only these test products, are the rest 3000 products affected by that import?

Hello,
The 3000 products in VirtueMart shop will not be affected. Only the products in CSV file will be added or updated on import.

Hello again,
i have one more question.
I read in the documentation that products updated according to SKU. Is it possile to use the product ID isnteda of SKU? Because most of the products in my eshop don't have a sku.

Yes, you can update products based virtuemart_product_id field. The existing products with the ID will be updated.
