Resolved RO CVSI template creation

In the past I used a csv based content uploader to add over 1,000 product articles to my website. When using it I created a template within the component. Basically it was like creating a joomla article and placing fields wherever required (eg in a table). Does RO CVSI work in a similar way? I don't use Virtuemart or anything like that; ideally I'd just create my own template so that it fits in style-wise with the rest of my site. I have looked at the documentation but the template creation section does not make this clear. Thanks.

In RO CSVI you create template in RO CSVI component itself and run import with file you have the CSV data. You can take a look at our extension on our demo server. Demo server has few import and export already installed. You can create a new template or use these installed templates to run import/export to see how our extension works.

I don't use Virtuemart or anything like that; ideally I'd just create my own template so that it fits in style-wise with the rest of my site.

You don't need to use other extensions to create template but you need to define the extension you are creating the template.
