Hello
Migration from virtuemart 3.6 to hikashop (latest version) - joomla 3.10.11
I know it's possible but I didn't see in your template a page that shows if it's easy, Like a 1-click migration template?
Can you tell me more? tips ?

Hello,
We do not have one click migration in RO CSVI. There are two ways to migrate data

  1. Create VirtueMart export template, run the export and using the export file run the import with HikaShop import template. In this case you can use RO CSVI Field mapper to map the fields of VirtueMart in HikaShop import template.
  2. We have an option to link export and import templates. Create import and export templates for VirtueMart and Hikashop and link these templates on Source tab of HikaShop export template so that export of VirtueMart data is used as import data for HikaShop.

You can test these on our demo server.

Kind regards,

Tharuna

Hello
Thank you for your reply.

It is still not very clear.

I went to the demonstration site, but I did not see any
documentation on the methodology. Does it exist?

If I understand correctly, I have to

1/ go to the joomla site + virtuemart + RO CSVI

2/ export categories, products + custom field groups, customers,
  orders... from virtuemart

3/ go to the new joomla site + hikashop + RO CSVI

4/ do all imports in hikashop

  Regards

  Hervé

Hello Hervé,

I went to the demonstration site, but I did not see any
documentation on the methodology. Does it exist?

Demo site is to run the sample import and export and see how it works. Please check Export VirtueMart data and import to HikaShop for documentation.

If I understand correctly, I have to

1/ go to the joomla site + virtuemart + RO CSVI

2/ export categories, products + custom field groups, customers,
orders... from virtuemart

3/ go to the new joomla site + hikashop + RO CSVI

4/ do all imports in hikashop

That is correct. You need to create individual VirtueMart export templates and import them into HikaShop.

Kind regards,

Tharuna
