Hello,
Yes webp image format is not supported with RO CSVI. But if it works for you in localhost and does not work on server then it has to be something to do with your server. Check what is different on your server.
Kind regards,

Tharuna

Hello,
Ok if we can import webp product images with CSVI,what do you mean when you say webp is not supported?

The image extensions supported in RO CSVI are JPG, PNG and GIF and so I said we do not support webp images.

I guess you have uploaded webp images to a folder and with import your are linking product with these images. Is that right?
Kind regards,

Tharuna

Hello,
There is no image processing involved in linking images with product on import and so it works. What is the issue you are having with these images on your server?
Kind regards,

Tharuna

First thing i upload the product image to images/virtuemart/product/ folder. Then i run the import. See attached log.
After the import the image is renamed from 123456.webp to 123456.
I looked for any notice at server log file but i did not find anything related.
I also tried to another server, same thing. And i have tried also with latest virtuemart and joomla versions.

Hello,

Yes, I can see that. In case you are only importing .webp images you can set the option Process Images to No. That should make it work.

What you noticed is that somewhere the extension gets lost and the file shows up without an extension, we will have a look at that.

Let me know how it goes.
Kind regards,
