Resolved Concerning version 8.0.0 beta 1

It is my understanding that version 8.0.0 beta 1 is the first Joomla! 4 compatible version of RO CSVI. Is that correct?

That is correct.

Can version version 8.0.0 beta 1 be used (reasonably) safe? I.e. do you think it is stable enough?

It can be used on Joomla 3 version without any problem. With Joomla 4 it is still on testing phase and so we call it as beta version.

Can templates and any other stuff there is to ex- and import be exported from version 7.20 and imported and used in 8.0.0?

Yes, templates can be backed up from 7.20.0 version and restored on RO CSVI 8.0.0 beta1 version and used for import/export. The RO CSVI functionality is the same on both these versions just that RO CSVI 8.0.0 beta runs on Joomla 4.

Are all plugins available for version 8.0.0 beta 1?

All RO CSVI plugins are available for version 8.0.0 beta1 but components like VirtueMart is still not available for Joomla 4.

Can you say anything about availability of an 8.0.0 stable version?
