hello can we skip the import of a product when the image field is empty?

Yes you can use RO CSVI Skip rule to check for empty values. See attached screenshot. Apply this rule on image field and it would skip import of product.

yes but it can not see if the images excist of the xml, our problem is that vendor sends an iamge path but that path is 404 is tere a way to catch this?

No checking if image exists in URL is not possible with current RO CSVI Skip rule. You can write your own custom rule which can be a copy of existing Skip rule and add code to check if Image exists and skip the record.
