Resolved Google Merchant XML feed export - products without prices are exported in XML feed

Hello,

RO CSVI 8.9.3, VM 3, J 3.10.12

I created an export of products from VirtueMart to Google Merchant using RO CSVI. However, the XML feed also contains products without prices, which Google does not accept.

I tried using the “Skip empty fields” rule for the price field, but it does not seem to work for prices.

Could you please advise how to completely skip products that have no price during export?

Hello Andrej,
There must be some value for price field saved in database so Skip empty fields does not work . What is the value you see in export file for empty prices? Can you post the export file to check? Also tell me which product SKU I should look in the export file.

Hello Andrej,
Ok I see empty price for the product. Please post template XML file to check. To get the template XML file from RO CSVI templates list page select the export template and click on Backup templates button. Post the downloaded XML file.

Hello Andrej,
In the attached template there is no Skip rule set for salesprice field. You need to apply the rule on salesprice field so empty price rows are skipped.

I removed the rule because it didn't work.

Your template works with rule with the data I have in my local site. Is there a way I can test this on your site? I still think it is not the problem with the rule but the price in database.

Hello Tharuna,

I probably didn't express myself very wel ;-).
We have an eshop with products that do not have a listed price. The price is therefore not in the database either.
There is no record for product ID: 12225 in the price table database.

And I don't want these products without prices in the XML feed export.

If you still need access to the eshop, that's no problem, and I will give you sufficient access.
