RO Users 2.3.0 released

RO Users 2.3.0

Releases do not come by so often for RO Users but this time round we have incorporated user feedback and added a dry run feature where you can test run your settings.

Usergroups

IMPORTANT In the global options you can specify which usergroups should never be considered for deletion. Mistakenly this was set to the viewlevels instead of the usergroups. After updating to RO Users 2.3.0 make sure to review your settings here to ensure the correct usergroups are used.

Joomla 4

In RO Users 2.2.0 we added Joomla 4 support and we continue this in RO Users 2.3.0 as things have changed in Joomla 4. A few small changes are made to ensure RO Users keeps running smoothly on Joomla 4. The user listing has been updated so it reflects the Joomla 4 user listing.

Date check

The date check remains to be a little problematic due to the big differences in implementations. To be more flexible and deal with the different implementations we have added two options to fine-tune how empty dates should be handled on your site. You can fine-tune these settings if no users are found by RO Users.

Dry run

The big new addition to RO Users is the --dryrun option. This option let's you run RO Users but it does not make any changes nor send out any emails. What it does do is report to you which changes it would be making if you run RO Users. This way you can verify if your settings are correct and further fine-tune your settings and test your changes.
