Hi Roland,
Noticed the following when tried to import some category pictures for VM3:
By default, when pictures are imported are not published. So i checked for a 'publish' field for the pics in the category import template but i could not find any; there is a publish field but this is for the category itself. Maybe i'm missing smth? (There is a 'publish' column in the media table)
Maybe the same applies to product categories also? Need to check!
Rgrds,
Chris

Hello Chris,
The field published is used to set the published state of the images. Have you used that?

Hello Chris,
This field is used for both categories and images. The idea behind it is, if you want to publish the category, you may want to publish the image as well.

Hi Roland,
Thanks, i will try it.
Just a suggestion for the future: if you are uploading multiple images currently you cannot control their publish status individually through CSVI. Or imagine you have products or categories with many pictures and at some point you need to unpublish (not delete) a series of images. There is no way you could do this with current version of CSVI; suggesting a different field like file_published that could also take multiple values like Y;Y;Y;N;Y;N;N;Y...
