Hi running VM 3.0.16 Clean install Joomla 3.5.1 and CSvi pro 6.5.7. Fr language frontend and En backend
On the old version some years ago I had found it easiest to create an export template (products) then use the resulting csv for product import.
With this current installation I cannot for the life of me get all the availble fields to display.
Fields displaying
product_availability
product_available_date
product_gtin
product_height
product_in_stock
product_length
product_lwh_uom
product_mpn
product_ordered
product_packaging
product_params
product_sales
product_sku
product_special
product_unit
product_url
product_weight
product_weight_uom
published
But i cannot get the fields to show ie product_desc, short description, image etc etc only the fields above are accessible.

I would REALLY appreciate a shove in the right direction please

Hello,
You need to update your available fields so you can see all the missing fields.
Kind regards,

Tharuna

I have the fields showing now thankyou and have created an export template to create a working csv file for which I have added the various product fields. I have one article in the store but when I export I have a blank file downloaded.
I have attached the log file and feeling a bit stupid...this shouldnt be that complicated should it. The version I had on joomla was so easy / plug and play from memory.
It seemed the easest work around would be to download the product csv and then use that for the base of creating the import.

Hello,

I have one article in the store but when I export I have a blank file downloaded.
Is it completely empty or there are column headers in the file?

The debug log looks all good to me, the query also works for me. So I don't see any reason for it not to work.

feeling a bit stupid...this shouldnt be that complicated should it.
No need to feel that way, you did everything right as far as I can tell. It's just that server configurations throws us curve balls all the time.

So let's turn on the error reporting and see if that spills any info. You can do that by going to System -> Global Configuration -> Server -> Error Reporting and set it to Developer. Save the change and run the export. Let's see what that gives us.
Kind regards,

RolandD
