I have set up products with the Multiple Custom Field plugin from myext.eu

I have set up CSVI file to import.

The fields are added to the product, but the values are not. (see attached result)

Please help.

Hello,

Please post your debug log as well so I can see what happens during the import. At the top of the page it is explained how to get the debug log.
Kind regards,

RolandD

Sorry to say but there is no log file attachment in your message, if it is a large files better to zip it otherwise it won't upload.

Hello,
The name of the title for the custom fields should be same as in csv file, your screenshot shows you have two different names, for example for "Mens Styles", the title is set as Style but in your CSV file its Mens Styles. Please correct the name to the same as your csv file and try doing the import.
Kind regards,

Tharuna

Hi Tharuna,

Many thanks for the quick responses.

I have attached a screenshot of my plugin setting. Are you saying that the CSV should be the same as Title 2 in the screenshot, instead of title 1?

Hello,
Yes, your Title 2 should be same as the name given in your CSV file. You can either change in your CSV file or change Title2 in your plugin settings so it matches with CSV file.
Kind regards,

Tharuna

Hello,

Looking through the history here some things need some clearing up.

First off, your original CSV file, as posted in the first post, is OK. Your Title 1 is what should be in the CSV file, Title 2 in your screenshot is not used by CSVI.

Second, this is probably the core issue, it looks to me you have not installed the CSVI plugin for Multiple Custom Field extension. It can be found in the extensions download under the title Product Filter custom field. Since 6.4.1 has been superseded by 6.4.3, you may want to update CSVI as well.

Once you have the plugin installed, run the import with your original CSV file and let me know how it goes.
Kind regards,

RolandD

Hi Rolandd,

thanks very much.

Just to be clear, do I use the "Product Filter custom field" plugin or the "Custom Filters" plugin?

Installed "Product Filter custom field" plugin and activated. Works like a charm!

This is totally my bad for not reading instructions!

Thanks Roland!
