Resolved Updating pricing only question

I have several hundred products in my virtuemart shop and just want to update pricing from an excel spreadsheet.
Would the steps be to create a pricing column in spreadsheet with proper template id header, and product sku or product name to show what item the price change is for?

I dont want the import to try and create all new products, but to simply update existing products in shop already.

Thank you for any confirmation on this.

Hello,

Assuming you are using one price per product you can use the product import to update prices. All you need is the product_sku and product_price field. These are the basics. If you do use more price settings you will need to add these fields as well to find the correct price. Such fields are price_quantity_start and price_quantity_end for example.

To not create any new products, in your template, set the option Skip new items to Yes. To find this option, click on the Advanced button first.

If you are unsure, it may be best to try with 1 product first.
