Resolved Unable to Import Wikipedia CSV

Hi folks,

I didn't find andy topic matching my search criteria, so I thought I should create a new topic then :D
OpenICECat didn't give me the oppurtunity to import the specifications for Smartphones, because they're restricted to a full ICECat subscription. That's why I was looking for an alternative. Maybe Wikipedia .. Wikipedia has tons of specifactions available :)

I found this URL, which creates a CSV file: http://wikitables.geeksta.net/
I tried to map the required fields, but it doesn't work :(

The field mapper does only show the first option (Scherm / screen). Maybe it has to do with the way the csv is build.

Attached the exported CSV file ... hope you have an idea

Hello,

The CSV file is in the wrong direction. Your data is horizontal whereas a regular CSV file has it's data vertical. The field names should all be on the first row and the data on row 2 and down.

That is why CSVI can't read your file. Well it can but it is not the result you want.
