Hi, it's great that you published version 6.6.1 so soon after 6.6.0. All XML export problems from the previous version seem to be solved. Good job!

The only thing I noticed is that the export/import of templates doesn't seem to work yet. Since I need to migrate a lot of templates to a new install of my site, I'm really looking forward to a fix for this too.

To reproduce:
export a single template from old install (maintenance > CSVI Pro > backup templates > save file)
import the backup in new install (maintenance > CSVI Pro > restore templates > upload file)

Both installs use joomla 3.5.1, VM 3.0.16 and CSVI Pro 6.6.1

This generates no errors but when I look under Templates, I see a new empty template with no name and no fields attached.

Any chance of this being patched soon? Thanks!

Hello Peter,
There is one issue with your XML file, there is a space on the first line, except that your template works good here and i dont see the issue of new template getting created. Can you check it again?
Kind regards,

Tharuna

Ok, I don't know where that extra space is coming from. I removed it and now it works good.

The space occurs when I backup from my old install. When I backup/restore on my new install, all works fine.

So the issue is on my side, consider it solved.

Thanks for spotting the error!

Hello Peter,

Some vague memory is floating to the top of my head where in the past an export file had a space in it and this was caused by some plugin. Perhaps if you care to search for it, you can find it on the forum or otherwise leave it as-is. Just wanted to share this blurry information :)
Kind regards,

RolandD

That's right, it was a custom-made plugin that's causing the space. Great memory! I'm migrating to a new install now where the plugin doesn't exist anymore.
