Hi,

Is there any way to switch off the set up wizard, when setting a new import/export - I don't particularly like it

It seems to run through a few settings, then at the end offers you to set up field groups or fields.
But once your done there you need to then go back to templates area, into your template & then tweak more settings.

Seems like an unnecessary step to me, that just wastes time - sorry!

Hello Andy,

You can but you don't have to.

Don't be sorry, all feedback is welcome. How about a compromise here. I can add a button which will allow you to skip the wizard and go straight to the template edit page after the first step?
Kind regards,

RolandD

I tested it a few times yesterday & not sure its because I am used to setting up a new template manually myself, but I just found that it was adding an extra minute or so to the set up - an extra minute or 2 which could add up to valuable coffee/beer drinking time

Once through the wizard, I find myself having to navigate back to templates, then find the template I just set up & switch on error reporting and other tweaks that I like to make.

Skipping the wizard, would be a good compromise, especially for the guys who have used this for a long time & just like to get stuck in.

We can't have that xD

Yes I understand. You could also use the Copy option to duplicate an existing template and tweak those settings. May even be faster ;)
Kind regards,

That's what I generally do, which is why I didn't notice this wizard until yesterday.

Thanks
