Resolved Skip specific products import based on category VM

I am using CSVI Pro version 5.21.2

I am currently importing a large XML feed into my store but there are certain product categories that I do not want to include in the import. Is it possible to skip specific product imports based on the category that they are in or on the contents of a specific field associated with that product?

I have not had any success and am fairly new to CSVI.

Hello,

There is no option in CSVI to skip records on import based on a filter. You would have to modify the source file and remove the products there. CSVI will import all records that are in the import file.

Another option is to code such wishes yourself in an override. Then you can do anything you like of course.
