Hi Roland
I am moving servers and the cron jobs require a new setting and I cannot seem to get it to work, perhaps you can help
I'm on CSVI Pro Version:5.21.2 Joomla 3.4.4 PHP version 5.3.29
The cron job is starting but I am getting:
Processing started: 1st October 2015, 12:00 pm Template name: ADD Atlas International You are not authorised to view this resource.
Processing finished: 1st October 2015, 12:00 pm Process ran for 1 seconds User has been logged out
The cron job is
/usr/bin/php /home/propertiesforsal/public_html/administrator/components/com_csvi/helpers/cron.php username="myusername" passwd="mypassword" template_id="77"
I have checked the username and password are correct (i am not using the ones given above obviously) and the user has superuser access...any ideas please
Thanks
Mark

Hello Mark,
That should make it work. CSVI 6 no longer uses a username and password so this issue is no longer present.
any ideas pleaseNever been able to pin this down but the only solution would be is to remove the access check in the administrator/components/com_csvi/csvi.php file. It is the section called Access check.
That should make it work. CSVI 6 no longer uses a username and password so this issue is no longer present.
Kind regards,
RolandD

Hi Roland
Ive not been able to get v6 working yet which is why I have stuck with what I know. Is there an upgrade path from 5 to 6 or is it a case of start again?
Especially replacements etc.
I am also getting a lot of problems with the fees just stopping and giving Internal Server Errors and 401 errors. is 6 likely to help with this issue too.
Thank in advance!
Mark
Just running a feed now and got
500 Status message: Internal Server Error
Error 0
Invalid controller: name='importfile', format='json'

Hello Mark,
As for the 401 Unauthorized, this is solved if it is the issue I am thinking about as no longer a username/password is needed.
Is there an upgrade path from 5 to 6 or is it a case of start again?Templates will be converted when found but replacements are not converted so they must be redone.
Especially replacements etc.
I am also getting a lot of problems with the fees just stopping and giving Internal Server ErrorsWith Internal Server Errors, you would need to find the real error. See the Internal Server Error document for some more information.
is 6 likely to help with this issue too.Hard to say because we don't know what the real error is. I would say you could try to setup one feed and see how it goes.

That you would get using the browser, which is weird because that file does exist in CSVI 5. You get this as soon as you start the import or after a while? If it is after a while I think it may be something with a timeout.

Hi Roland
Sorry for the delay getting back to you I had un unexpected trip to hospital!
Anyway I have reverted back to v5 for the moment as I cannot get my head round the replacements and combines for v6 yet Certainly not as easy as v5 but there you go maybe its me.
I have deleted the access check and the crons are working fine
Thanks
Mark

I cannot get my head round the replacements and combines for v6 yetI wonder why because it hasn't really changed compared to v5. Feel free to open a thread on this topic.
Kind regards,
