I there, I can't get more than a fraction of products export in a site that resides in a sub directory of the main site, I fear that this is causing problems with CSVI. Any good advice to make it work?

Thanks in advance

Hello Carlo,

For CSVI it makes no difference where the site is since it only looks at the database. Post your export debug log for me to check.

An export is usually cut off by the server when it reaches whatever limits there are.
Kind regards,

Thanks for your answer. Well there is a different database in the subdirectory and I remember I had this problem once. I de-istalled the component from the main site and it worked. I guess there is some kind of action to make it work on different directories ( and different database ).

Thanks
Carlo

Hello Carlo,

I guess there is some kind of action to make it work on different directories ( and different database ).
If you know where it is in the CSVI code, please tell me because I don't know.

CSVI uses the Joomla! configuration to connect to the database, nothing more and nothing less.
Kind regards,

RolandD

Of course I don't know  But I fear it is not working when a domain is like: http://www.domain.com/roma

Configuration is ok but still don't get the full Virtuemart catalog. In the main domain I can export 70000 product with no problems.

The CSVI code is no different whether it is in a top folder, sub folder or a sub sub folder. What can be different is the PHP settings per folder but this is a server setting and not a CSVI setting.

Check the server log for any errors if you don't get a full export. Only then will we know what we are dealing with.
Kind regards,

RolandD
