Resolved Removing all images from VirtueMart

What is the best way to remove all pictures from vitualmart and ftp and to remove media link from product and categories?

Go to Maintenance -> Maintenance and choose VirtueMart in the first dropdown and Remove product media link in the second dropdown and then click Continue. This will remove all the relations between products and images. It doesn't remove the images from VirtueMart, you can do that easily in VirtueMart itself.

As for FTP removal, you will need to login with FTP and remove the images manually.

Where image tab in VirtueMart category import in 6.3.0 version?

It is there if you create a template of the Operations Import / VirtueMart / Category and save the template. The Image tab will show up.

It is necessary to create a script for clearing Media files table.
VirtueMart has no any functionality for it.
It would be good if such script wil be able to clear Media file table and contents of the FTP server.

The direction Roland pointed removes all the rows/relations from media tables. As far as FTP is concerned you can always login and delete the images manually.

I understand that removing files from ftp i can do only manually.

Maybe I'm doing something wrong, but the operation "Maintenance \ VirtueMart \ Remove product media link" only removes the connection between the pictures and the products, but media files table does not change. All media files are left.

You are correct that the option I pointed out only removes the product media link. If you want to empty all the media from your database, you can either use PhpMyAdmin and empty the table or go to the Media manager in VirtueMart and select all media and click the Delete button.

There is no option in CSVI to only empty the media table.
