I am new to the newer version of CSVI pro and am having some difficulty with the new setup. I created a template for a Virtuemart product import and for now I am only trying to import product sku, name and category. I set the template to use the first line of my imported file for configuration. When I run the import it is giving me an error saying the product_sku was found but not supported by CSVI. I have attached the log. I went into the Available fields area and attempted to update, but am getting the following error:

Error

You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near '' at line 1 SQL=INSERT INTO `jos_csvi_availablefields`

Any ideas regarding what I may be doing wrong and how to fix? Thank you!

Hello,

You did not include a sample of your import file so I can only guess. My guess is there is something wrong with the spelling of the word product_sku in your import file. Perhaps a space before or after it.

As for your issue with updating the available fields, it is missing part of the insert statement. You have not installed any addon plugins for extensions you don't use?
Kind regards,

RolandD

Thanks for your reply. I have attached the import spreadsheet. I don't see any spaces, but I may be missing something. As for the SQL error - I tried to reinstall the component, but am still getting the same error at installation. I did look in the database and the table jos_csvi_availablefields exists. Any other ideas of how I can get this fixed?

Hello,

I have checked your file and that all looks good to me. I can't find any faults with it and the file is read correctly as well. Do you see the product_sku in the preview?

The table itself is not a problem, it is the query to get data into the table which is incomplete. Can you send me Joomla and FTP login details for me to check what is going on with the indexing? You can do that in a private message.
Kind regards,

RolandD

I have sent the credentials via pm. I don't see the product_sku in the preview. Hopefully you will be able to easily identify the issue. Thanks so much for your help!

Hello,

I did receive the credentials and have taken a look. First you need to update CSVI to the current version. One issue you were having has already been fixed in version 6.5.0, which is a corrupted available fields table due to an update from CSVI 5. This I have fixed now. The second issue with the SQL error has also been fixed, this is because you have no tax rates setup in VirtueMart. I updated the code to ignore tax rates if there are none.

I believe you should be able to continue now as the product_sku field is now available.
Kind regards,

RolandD
