Hello,

thank you for your fast and accurate replies. Following your instructions was very helpful, and we managed to solve the problem with custom fields. Another important task we faced, is to upload product images from external url, due to the fact that our e-shop includes over 10,000 products which need to be updated regularly. Made a really good search before posting in order to save you some time, but we seem to be stuck and a few references to this subject around the web noted CSVI as the only solution apart from database customization. We kindly request your help on this task also. Thank you for your time and keep up the good work!!!

Hello,
Have a look at the import VirtueMart images for product document which explains on how you can handle images. You can have your image settings in your import template and on images tab. If you like to save those images from external urls to your server, set the option "Save images on server" to Yes on images tab. More options on images can be seen by clicking on Advanced button on top right. Hope this helps.
