RO 8.10.0

The table csvi_processes fills up over time. Not every import stays in there, but it seems it fills up mostly with automatic processes that tried to read a file that did not exist at that moment.

Apart from flushing this table, there is no way to clean it up. Seems like a bug?

Hello Roderic,

This is a known issue and happens when a process does not end normally. Not really a bug but also something I want to get rid of. Since RO CSVI cannot know if a process is still running it cannot remove the process either afterwards. Sure, you can say, it is 1 week later anything older can be removed.

As you may have noticed we have already removed the Running Processes page as it did not provide any actual status. Removing the table itself is another issue but also not something we can do as it does contain vital information for imports/exports that are running.

Just like with the logs where you can set how many logs to save, default being 25, we will implement something similar for the processes table. That would be a time range as 25 processes could still be possible within a day. However as I said earlier, if you have processes that are a week old, I am fairly certain they do no longer run.

It is on the list for cleanup.
Kind regards,

RolandD
