Hi I'm trying to group an order Export by Order ID and its suddenly stopped working After a save. Can you think of any reason. Its basically creatign a new order export line whenever it encounters a new product

It will help if you post your debug log as otherwise we have no clue either. Post the debug log and we will see what is going on in there and perhaps it can shed some light.

Ok I seem to have solved
The exports were originally grouped by "Order No" which was the column name for virtuemart_order_id. which has always worked.
so I just created a new field with no column name for virtuemart_order_id and grouped by that instead.

Yes that is a bug and I was able to reproduce the issue. If the field has a column header set then it is not used in Group by and Sort by fields. Please load the attached patch file and check the export. Group by should work even with Column headers. Let me know on how that goes.

Many thanks - File patched successfully - BUT
I now expect to see "Order No" in the list of order By fields but its not there I only see
virtuemart_order_id

Have you set Column header for virtuemart_order_id field as Order No? Can you post the template XML file to check? To get the template XML file from RO CSVI templates list page select the export template and click on Backup templates button. Post the downloaded XML file.

I mean the Column header "Order No" is no longer available to set as an option in the Grouping Dropdown

You have multiple virtuemart_order_id fields in your export template. The last field in the export template does not have Column header and so that is shown in Group by fields. Group by field will not show all duplicated fields and that last one in template fields order is shown in the dropdown.
