Hi Roland,
Would appreciate your thought on the following issue:
- In VM3, when a child product shares the same picture with its parent, you don't have to assign a picture to it; VM3 automatically fetches the picture of the parent, see for example below link of a child product with no assigned pictures:
https://www.quality-tuning.eu/el/inox-solina-t-in64-out2x50-l140.html
On the other hand, if CSVI cannot find any picture for the product, it just sets an empty picture_url field. That causes a bit of a problem with Google and other engines when submitting the sitemap, as they complain for image missing for the url. For example the entry in the sitemap file for the above URL as per CSVI is:

<loc>
https://www.quality-tuning.eu/el/inox-solina-t-in64-out2x50-l140.html
</loc>
<image:image>
<image:loc>

</image:loc>
</image:image>

So the idea is: can we tell CSVI to take the parent pic if a child doesn't have any, just like VM3 does?
Rgrds,
Chris
