Resolved Override Product Manufacturer

Good evening guys,

Im having a problem overriding existing manufacturer in Product.

Im using manufacturer_name and I want to update currently manufacturer, but when im inserting .csv file, it just add's new manufacturer and it dosen't replace the old one.

Anyone can help?

(PHP: 5.6 with Joomla 3.4.8 (CSVI Pro 6.5.0))

Good morning,

You are correct, CSVI doesn't replace the existing one, it only adds one or multiple in case you assign multiple manufacturers to a product.

This is something we can change in the upcoming version of CSVI but until then the only option is to either empty the database table virtuemart_product_manufacturers before you import your products so that only the newly created reference is there or remove the duplicates by hand.

Hello,
I have added the support for replacing existing manufacturers for a product. Can you try to load the attached patch file and see if your manufacturers are getting updated?
