Hi,

CSVI Pro 6.1.2
HS 2.5.0

I'm trying to import Hikashop fields:
product_code;product_weight;product_weight_unit
74.10.05;1;kg
135020443;1;kg

but after selecting file to import I got:

Import file contains 100 lines
No supported fields have been found in the import file

and my import doesn't run

Any ideas what does it mean? I already tried to reset tasks and update available fields.

Best reagards,
Chris

Hey Chris,

Check if your template has an issue with the file. Set the Auto-detect delimiters to No and see how that goes.
Kind regards,

Hi,

from the beginning I had auto-detect delimiters set to No. Also file is utf8 w/o bom encoded. I think it has to do with new version, as for the CSVI Pro 6.1.0 I had no issues with this import.

Best regards,
Chris

Hello Chris,

Without the file and debug log itself I can't really comment on it. For sure, nothing has been changed in the way the delimiters are being read.
Kind regards,

RolandD

Hello Chris,

I have no problems importing your file. Attached is the preview I get and the final result page.

One thing I was wondering, did you add the fields to your template? This because you have set the option Use file for configuration to No.

Hi,

fields are in my template. Now I found out I can't import anything (templates which were working fine before), not just this. I figure out if "Use file for configuration" is set to "No", then I got always "No supported fields have been found in the import file", but if it's set to "Yes", then the preview of the file works fine and import is running fine. Just like it doesn't know it has fields added to template, but in db in #__csvi_templatefields I can see my fields are assigned to my template.

Best regards,
Chris

Hey Chris,

That is a pretty odd situation. Can you export the HS template you use and post it? I will see if it works here, if it does we can try and see if restoring the template may work for you.
Kind regards,

RolandD

Hello Chris,

Restored the template, then ran the import with the weight.csv file and all is fine. So I didn't touch the template. Can you give that a try?
Kind regards,

RolandD

Hi,

I removed template and restored it, still "No supported fields have been found in the import file". What the heck? I guess it's because my specific config, but what could be doing this?

Best regards,
Chris

Hey Chris,

I wonder if something fell over :) At this point I am thinking you can try to reset the tasks and update the available fields. Although the fields are known as you can select them. It's worth a shot.

If that doesn't help, uninstall CSVI and install it again. Don't forget to re-install the addons as well.

If it still doesn't work after that, let's see what we can do then.
Kind regards,

RolandD

Hi,

reset & update available fields didn't do the trick, uninstalling and installing also didn't solve the problem :(

Hey Chris,

Something else dawned on me. Go to the Templates -> Template fields page and select all the fields for your import template template. Click published in the toolbar. Try your import again. Does that do the trick?
Kind regards,

RolandD

Hey Chris,

That is the end of my ideas. If you want you can send me Joomla and FTP login details and I can take a look for you. That won't be until late tomorrow or early Thursday as I am on the road.

Only other thing one could try is to completely remove everything and do a complete clean installation. You can backup your templates via the Maintenance menu.
Kind regards,

RolandD
