Hi Roland,

Problem solved! Thanks for your support on the issue.

Next up: importing products. I created the template and did the first import of the CSV with 313 products. All went well, CSVi tells me. But in the product list in Virtuemart, nothing is added. Also I noticed that the preview couldn't show me all cell information of the CSV file.

I added the attachments to this post, maybe you can point me in the right direction again? For your information, this webshop uses two languages, which are NL and DE. So I'll have to an import template for both Dutch and German. The one I tried now is the German language.

Hello,
Can you send me the debug log too? You can look at the top of this page under "Where to get the debug information?" to know on how to get debug log.
Kind regards,

Tharuna

I think the only way to send it is to send it by mail. The log file is 1,8 MB, which is too large to attach to this post I guess?

Hello,
You can try to zip the file and post here if its too large or mail will also do.
Kind regards,

Hello,
Checking into the debug log, the reason you are not be seeing products is because the shopper group id is set as 0 for products. Please load the attached file and try doing import again.

Still no luck, although CSVi tells me all has imported well, I don't see any of the products in Virtuemart. Do you want me to post a debug log again?

Hello Gert-Jan,

Have a look at the article Why are my products not showing up, I think that may be the issue at hand.
Kind regards,

Hi Roland, thanks I got it now.

The only thing that didn't work out well, are the prices. They're imported, but not available or set the right way. I can see them in the product, but they only come available in the front-end when I save the product again.

I tried to follow https://www.csvimproved.com/support/import/203-virtuemart/912-import-virtuemart-prices but using the asterisk for the shopper group name didn't work.

Any advise on how to fix this?

Hello Gert-Jan,
Can you post the debug log of the last import? It would help me to trace the issue better.
Kind regards,

Tharuna

Hello Gert-Jan,
The issue with prices is that shopper_group_id is inserted as 0. Can you
load the attached patch file
and try running the import again?

Hi Tharuna,

Still no luck. The same problem exists. Now what I did was the following:

- First of all I imported the prices again with * (asterisk) for the shopper group name. The result is (as far as I can see) the same as before.
- Then I changed the shopper group in de CSV to COM_VIRTUEMART_SHOPPERGROUP_DEFAULT, but still this doesn't give me any good results too

I think I'm this close finding the solution, but can't seem to get it right. Should I send you a debug log again?

Hi,

These are the two logs for both of the imports I tried.

Thanks for your time and effort!

Hello Gert-Jan,
Both logs look good to me, can you try doing a fresh import after cleaning the product prices so to be sure there is no old leftovers? You can do that using maintenance menu >> Select Virtuemart >> Remove product prices.
Kind regards,

Tharuna
