Resolved Import new custom field skipped

Hi Roland,

I followed the guide to create new custom field here, but the import process gives me this error:

Action: skipped - Message: Missing required fields

This is my csv:

"custom_desc","custom_title","custom_value","field_type","plugin_name","custom_element"
"Organics","organics","YES","S","",""

where am I wrong?

System:
csvi: 6.0beta4
Joomla: 3.4.1
vm: 3.0.6.2

Hello Francesco,

Your custom_element field is empty that is what CSVI is complaining about. By the looks of it you are trying to import an internal custom field (String), this has no custom_element.

Do you have a lot of these custom fields to create? If only a few it might be easier to do it by hand. I will check in the meantime how to update the code so these fields can be imported as well.

Hello Roland,
I have to import about 70 custom fields. It would be great if I could import them with csv, but it is not a problem, I can import them by hand.

Hello,

So I fixed the custom import to allow for regular custom fields as well. Attached is the patch file you can load. After that you should be able to import your file as posted in the first post.
