Resolved Import multiple manufacturers

Excuse my English, I have to use the translator of google!

As you already know, virtuemart 3 has added the ability to associate more than one manufacturer to a product.
Even if you're not quite agree with this feature, I assure you that it is very important in some special cases.

I give you an example: in a book store, it is very convenient to use the field "manufacturer" considering it as "author".
A book, in fact, may have more than one author.
This way I can handle all the authors, search for and display the list of books they have written.

I saw, however, that this feature is not taken into consideration even in CSVI version 6 PRO beta 3.
However, regardless of the use that is made of multiple manufacturers, being a feature of virtuemart 3, I think CSVI should manage it.
There is the possibility to have it ready in a short time?

Hello Giovanni,

Correct, the multi-manufacturer per product is not available in beta 3 however I already planned to add it just have not had the time yet. Someone else also made a good case for supporting it, you reinforce it :)

When it is ready I will inform you, so you can see if it works OK for you. Is that OK?

Hello,
I tried updating that sent me (beta 4).
Importing multiple producers now works!

BUT


1) product name (product_name) is deleted.
2) the description (product_desc) is deleted
3) a short description (product_s_desc) is deleted
4) adds a new price (with value 0) which then can not be deleted with virtuemart.

I attached the csv file that I used for the import and also the log.

Hello Gio,

Are you sure the name and descriptions are gone? I don't see anything happen with the product language. Nor do I see any changes with the price.

I will check what happens here but perhaps I didn't notice this when testing.

Yes, I'm sure that the fields that have a translation are cleared.
And I'm sure you add a new price (in addition to that already present) with value 0, and that you can not remove.
Anyway, for now my problems are solved. Expect a stable version 6.
Use CSVI long time and I'm sure everything will work. ;)

I am as well now, I found out what happened and it is fixed in the beta 4 that will be released later today.

Use CSVI long time and I'm sure everything will work.
