Joomla Version 3.4.5
Vm Version: 3.0.12
CSVI : 6.4.1 + 6.4.0 vm plugin

I was able to import all my virtuemart categories and images from the csvi. It created the proper file url and thumb url within the categories but all the images are showing unpublished. I have tried everything but no matter how many times I try they will stay unpublished and the only way I am able to correct this is by going into every category and checking the box to publish the images. Once I check the box to publish the image they show up fine on the site. I have tons of categories and this will take forever. Is there something I'm doing wrong or is there a bug?

Have you tryed inserting in your csv file another line named "publish" and the number "1" under it ...
like that :

I haven't tried that because I thought that field was for the specific category to show published or unpublished and not the actual media image. I'll give it a try and see if that fixes it.

Gave it a try and it unpublished the ones I manually went in and fixed. Even with a 1 in the published field.

Hello,

icon32 is right, the published field should set the images to published. Since there is no debug log I can't give you any feedback.

Post the debug log of your import and I can check what is happening with the images.
Kind regards,

RolandD

The template fields are not being used because you have set the option Use file for configuration to Yes, this means the fields are read from the first line in your file. You can set this No, to use the fields from your template.

You can go as far as removing the published field from your import file but keep it in the fields list with a default value of 1. This field will then also be used, only if you set the Use file for configuration to No.
Kind regards,

RolandD

Ok I made the changes as you said and there were no errors with the debug this time. I even added default value of 1 to the published field within the template and all the images are still showing unpublished. Here is the latest debug.

update: I did some testing and manually unpublished some categories just to see if they would be republished after I ran the import and the actual category did publish but the image for the category are still not being published as in the picture attached.

Hello,

I have gone through the category import and made some changes. Can you apply the patch and run the import and see how it goes? If it is still unpublished please post the new debug log and the file you used for import.

Hello,

It's working! I was just about to try your patch then noticed you released a new version today so I uninstalled csvi then reinstalled it to the newest version 6.4.2 plus the newest vm plugin 6.4.2 and everything is working great. Thank you for all the help :)
