Hello, good afternoon. I have just buyed your CSVI PRO 5 solution to import from virtuemart in joomla 1.5 to a new installation in Joomla 3 with VM 3

I have tested your software with joomla 2.5 and was very good.

Now i don´t know what happen. I´m trying to import the CVS file and nothing happen.

I have check your website to read some tutorials but all are for joomla 2.5 version

It´s is very important for me to get this job done, i know your system is powerfull, but i don´t know what I´m missing or doing wrong.

Thank you very much for your support.

Hello,

I will need all the information requested under Looking for a useful answer, the debug log is not included. One thing I can tell you is that your CSV file contains a number of fields no longer supported by VM 3, so CSVI won't import them.

Just keep category_path and category_description, these fields should import. You can add more fields as needed after that.
Kind regards,

RolandD

Hello,

No problem, I will be patient :)

CSVI 5 works the same on Joomla 2.5 as it does on Joomla 3. Only VirtueMart has changed quite a bit.

Here is a test file you can use:
"category_path";"category_description"
"Productos Disponibles/Abrasivos";"Abrasivos"
"Productos Disponibles/Agrandadores de Anillos";"Agrandadores de Anillos"

See if you can import that file. To do that create a new template of the import VirtueMart Categories. Check on the Options type if the language is set to Spanish and save your template. Now load this example file and the import should be OK.
Kind regards,

RolandD
