Hi,
I try to change the fields file_description and file_meta.
So I use Import / Virtuemart / products and add to the Template product_sku & fields file_description & file_meta.
Import works but no changes in database...
What am I doing wrong?
Thanks, Daniel

Hello,
To update the file_description and file_meta, trying doing a media import. You can have a look at the documentation Import Virtuemart media items to know on it.

Hi Tharuna,
If I do it your way I get a error message (attachment).
If you would like to take a look into the backend Roland has access.
Thanks, Daniel

Hello Daniel,
Can you Go to System -> Global configuration -> Server -> Error Reporting and set this to None and then try the import?

Hello Daniel,
You are running CSVI Pro 6.5.0 but did you also update the CSVI VirtueMart addon? Line 455 in your error is now on another line. Please update the VM addon as well.
Second, check in your template if you have set the path to where the product images live.

Hi Roland,
The result is that I do not change the existing image values only. I create a new image with the values of the upload.
Is there any possiblity to change the existing values of file_description and file_meta only?
If not I have do delete the complete data and upload the new data...
Thanks, Daniel

Hello Daniel,
You will need to use the Media import. You can run an export of the fields there of file_url, file_description and file_meta and change what you want and then import it again.
