Hi

I have a new installation of CSVI and EZ Realty using 5.21.2 and EZ Realty Version 7.2.0.

I am running an import from an xml feed.

Having set up the fields as normal the properties all import correctly but some have the full 10 images added and some do not. (Each property have 10 images) Also some properties show "image not found" suggesting the database has been updated with the image url but the image was not copied to the local server.

I check the url's of the properties from the feed and they are there and load correctly.

When I look at the log I note that sometimes the log tells me the image was not found: Remote file does not exist: but I check and it is there.

Can you help with this please.

Hello Mark,

Can you help with this please.
Where is the debug log?

Remote file does not exist: but I check and it is there.
It might be that CSVI is downloading too many images or sending too many server requests and the server is giving CSVI the boot? Later it might be able to download images again because it had a moment of rest.
Kind regards,

RolandD

Debug log enclosed...

For the server requests is there any settings I can change on the remote site or local site to help that?

Hello Mark,

Looking at the debug log I see some images reported as does not exist and the reason for that is that the image server sends no response.

Usually you would see this:
2015-04-08 14:00:09 5 [DEBUG] URL:http://www.costablancahus.com/components/com_ezrealty/ezrealty/fc65078fc9ad83babd3d81cddbbcc7fe.jpg
2015-04-08 14:00:09 5 [DEBUG] HTTP response:HTTP/1.1 200 OK
and the 200 OK is what we are looking for. This is what we see with a non-existing image
2015-04-08 14:00:09 5 [DEBUG] URL:http://www.costablancahus.com/components/com_ezrealty/ezrealty/43b07983b507426c0d61f36ba9cbe720.jpg
2015-04-08 14:00:09 5 [DEBUG] HTTP response:
There is no response whatsoever, that is when CSVI decides the image doesn't exist.

So you will need to find out why the image server doesn't give any answer. As I said before, I think it might be because of too many requests from your import server to the image server, so the IP address probably needs to get whitelisted or something like that but that you will need to check with the image server hosting people.
Kind regards,

RolandD
