Hi,

I have issues which exporting shipping prices.
1. I created template for exporting virtumart -> Operation Shipping rates
2. Added 2 fields: virtuemart_shipmentmethod_id and shipment_params
3. Selected attached file configuration
4. And when I download the file, it is not clear to see the price for each shipment method and country. Attached.
How I can make csv file with column headers, and value to them. See attached results picture

Please advise,
Sandra

Hello Sandra,
The problem is you are trying to export shipment_params field, CSVI is exporting its value as it is stored in the database. To have individual params value, you need to add fields shipment_logos, show_on_pdetails, categoires, blocking_categories.. as each template field to your template. You can then remove shipment_params field from your template fields. This way you should be getting your expected result. Let me know if it helps.
Kind regards,

Tharuna

Hello Sandra,
If you are missing these fields try to update your available fields. After that you can see these fields as normal template fields.
Kind regards,

Tharuna

Hi Tharuna,

Thanks, Now I can see all the fields.

One more question: How can I see my exported data in Excel 2013 version? Which configuration do I need to select?

Thanks,
Sandra

Hello Sandra,
CSVI exports data in three formats, CSV, XML and HTML. If you need to use Excel 2013, you may need to do some local settings to see the exported CSV file.

I read this somewhere, not sure if it works but worth trying
Open Blank Workbook.
Go to DATA tab.
Click button From Text in the General External Data section.
Select your CSV file.
Follow the Text Import Wizard. (in step 2, select the delimiter of your text)
Kind regards,

Tharuna

Hello Sandra,

In addition to what Tharuna said, you should be able to open CSV files by double clicking them. The only thing you need to check is which delimiter the fields use as Excel isn't consistent in that. Rule of thumb is that in Europe we use a semi-colon as field separator and the rest of the world uses a comma.

To be sure all is fine, set a text enclosure of double-quote as well.
Kind regards,
