Once again i deal with this problem.

I have moved my joomla installation to a new server being able to use latest php but when i try to import with description products won't show unless i save each one of them.
Removing description and shopper group i get the same result. Stoping image prossess gives me the same behaviour.

I am still hoping to save some time using the component

Hello,

Post your debug log as well, the import file alone doesn't say enough. It is most likely caused by the shopper groups I think since you already have the published field in there. Do you have any specific setup with shopper groups?
Kind regards,

RolandD

Nothing specific is used for shopper groups.

I unistalled tottaly CSVI after hours of trying and now that i am again back at office i will give it a shot. Should i use something else than * (asterisk) to shopper groups as default to have the products show frontend normally?

When i check database and through virtuemart products are assigned to "Availlable for all"

So I don't see anything odd in your debug log. The shopper group you put in the last file is incorrect, the shopper group name is not 5 ;) Using the asterisk is fine, that means it is for everybody.

So we need to find out what is actually changed after you save the product. If you know how you can do an export of the database tables using PhpMyAdmin of all VirtueMart tables before you save the product, then save the product so it shows up. After that export the tables again. You can private message the result files and I can compare them. If you do not know how to use PhpMyAdmin we can try with CSVI by doing a product export with all fields before saving the product, then save the product and when it shows up run the export again. We can compare those 2 exports to see what has changed.
Kind regards,

RolandD

Even if i erase the product the import procedure works fine but product won't show in frontend.
Is the component tested with the following versions?

PHP version 5.6.14
Joomla! version 3.4.5
Database schema version

Changed and tested with lower php version

PHP version 5.4.45
Joomla! version 3.4.5
Database schema version 6.4.0

but once again products won't show

Hello,

Changing the PHP version won't fix it. I don't see the export files, please attach them here or send them via email for me to check.
Kind regards,

RolandD

Zipped files are fine. I can see you only export the product table and descriptions. There is no difference there, so the difference must be in another table. That is why I asked to export all VirtueMart tables.

Please do an export again of before and after but this time of all VirtueMart tables. So I can compare everything.
Kind regards,

RolandD

Hello Rollandd.
My online shop was offline all the time and with more than 2500 products missing so i had to restore my database to an older one.
I know that there is something i miss to the procedure even though i have spend many night without sleeping to make everything work as it should and have a stability and comfort to update my products.
I even changed the vps to one with latest Centos OS with latest php and sql cores.
You are very helpfull and the csv improved worths every euro as a great tool.
I need to find some time and sort it out what is going wrong but that means more time.
I will fix my sql autobackup script so that i will be able to have a totall backup and be able to restore anytime and then i'll update this post testing again with my script.

Hello,

It must be something simple but we need to see what is changed by the saving of the product. Once we know which switch to trigger, all should be good. I will wait for your exports and check them.
Kind regards,

RolandD

I am back trying to update products and now everything seems to work as it should just randomly i get the "Status error: 500" and procedure stops.

I could use some help. I have uploaded the import file and the last log. The import stops in random row and not always to a particular product

Thank you in advance ;)

EDIT 1: I tried to upload to forum my log and import file but even if i get no error it won't work
EDIT 2: Question : The "Limit" described here ---> http://www.csvimproved.com/en/support/questions-and-answers/903-manage-timeouts is removed from templates? I use 6.4.2. and i see no such field to edit
EDIT 3: I added the following directives
<IfModule mod_fcgid.c>
FcgidIdleTimeout 380
FcgidBusyTimeout 3000
FcgidIOTimeout 8200
FcgidConnectTimeout 300
FcgidProcessLifeTime 8200
FcgidMaxRequestLen 1073741824
</IfModule>
to my server and seems to solved the 500 error but i get a unknown server error 0 now

Click on the Advanced button. It says so in the article ;)

How can i check which is the incorrect files?
On the result screen or via the Logs details, you can filter the results. You can also filter on the incorrect ones.
Kind regards,

RolandD
