Hi,

I want the "file_description" field empty, otherwise my template is displaying VM "Displayed image subtitle"
So in my upload file I just have, "", but what the upload script is doing automatically, it generated the "file_description", based on file filename and path.
This is unwanted.
How can I solve this?
Can i influence the sorting of multiple images?

Upload file:
"product_sku","file_url","file_url_thumb","file_title","file_description","file_meta"
"alf259bp","Silver.jpg","resized/Silver-thumb.jpg","Silver","","Silver - Zilver - Argent - Silber"
"alf259bp","Carbon.jpg","resized/Carbon-thumb.jpg","Carbon","","Carbon"
"alf259bp","Alloy.jpg","resized/Alloy-thumb.jpg","Alloy","","Alloy"

Hello,

How can I solve this?
I think for now you can add the field file_description with a space so you get " " in your file. If that doesn't work let me know and I will work on a fix. I do agree that these should not be filled automatically, so will put in the change for the next release.

Can i influence the sorting of multiple images?
Not when using the media import because there simply isn't any ordering on the media. When doing a product import then you can set the order of images as the order of images is based on a per product setting. You would use the field file_ordering, see the Import VirtueMart images tutorial for details.
Kind regards,

RolandD

I did already a re-run prior to your message. Yes this is for now a good workaround with a space!
