Hello Roland,

When I was trying to do the field mapper, I realised I didn´t get all the csvi names in the list. I checked the forum trying to find a solution and I read an answer from you in a previous chat saying:

"Go to CSVI Pro -> Maintenance -> Available Fields and click Update. If you still do not see the fields, go to CSVI Pro -> Tasks -> click Reset and confirm and then do the update again.

Now you should see the fields"

Ok, I have done this and now my list is completely empty, even if I clik in update nothing comes out. I am very new in this component, I bought yesterday the Pro version and I feel very lost.

Could you help me please?. What do I have to do? thanks in advance and sorry for bothering you again.

The missing fields has been explained in the Missing Fields in CSVI tutorial. It is basically the steps you wrote above. Please do them again and see if you get any errors anywhere or if the fields show up.

I am very new in this component, I bought yesterday the Pro version and I feel very lost.
Did you read the Getting Started guide? It is the first option on the Support menu.

Hi again Roland,

I have followed the steps again and the csvi name fields are still completely empty. The fields doesn´t show up. With the reset everything went away.

Any suggestion to bring them back?

Roland, I have realised I did the first reset directly in the csvi fields and not in the Tasks! I show you in the attached file.

Oh dear, how can I get them back??

Hello,

Doing the reset on the fields list has no effect other than resetting the filters. If you select Import -> VirtueMart -> Product on the fields list and then click Go. Do you see any fields then?

Hello,

In that case you have not installed the CSVI VirtueMart addon. Go to Downloads -> CSVI Pro Extensions and download the VirtueMart add-on from there. Install it as a regular Joomla extensions. After that you should have your fields. You can install example templates from the Maintenance menu after that.

Thanks Roland,

I went to CSVI Pro Extensions and downloaded and installed the VirtueMart and activated the plugin.
However I still don´t get the fields if I go to CSVI>Import.

I have refreshed everything a couple of times but nothing seems to work today! :-(
What can it be?

Roland, I did it!!! :-D

I was doing the import in a wrong way, from the direct "Import" Category in the main menu of the CSVI instead of doing it from Maintenance>Filter:Import>VirtueMart>Product>Go. (that can confusse users). Now I can see a full list of fields.

Ok, thanks for everything!. Now I will try to create a proper Field Mapper. I will post you a new chat if I can´t manage.

Congratulations.

The Import in the menu is for doing an import. You can see the fields indeed by filtering the list of available fields.

Hello Roland,

I have a new problem with the same issue. Even when I got all the fields, I still get this

0 Empty Success Available fields table emptied

I have tried several times to make the process, updating everything, but the table is empty, so when I try to create the fieldmapper, I cannot select any csvi option for the fields, as it is empty. It is a bit strange, isn´t it?
How can I sort this out? I attach a picture of the situation

Hello,

I am a little confused, the message of emptying the available fields is the first message of updating the available fields. Do you see any fields when you go to the Maintenance -> Available fields?

One thing I see in your screenshot is that you have selected product availability instead of product. The product availability only has a few fields. Even these I would expect to see in the dropdown.

I have same problem, but I am not able to solve it.

Available fields are OK, but Quick add is empty, I don't see any fields there. I have CSVI, I have Virtuemart plugin, I reseted tasks, I updated fields and I can see them in Available fields, but I am not able to add them to template.

Any help please? I am lost.

This could be because of javascript error on the page. Can you Analyse the problem using Firebug and post a screenshot on what you see in console?

Hello,

So you can see all the fields in the Available Fields list, this means that they are indexed correctly. On the Template fields page, have you selected the template you want to add fields to? That is needed to fill the Quick Add box.

If you have selected the template, do you get any JavaScript error when you click the Quick Add button? Do you see the fields if you use the New button?

Thank you for your help.

On the Template fields page, the template is selected in the dropdown list, but there is nothing in the Quick Add box.

I don't see any single line of information in Firebug, when I click on Quick Add button. Firebug is empty.

When I use the New button, then on the next page, the Field name dropdown list is also empty.

Can you post a screenshot of the first tab of your template showing the operation you have chosen and a screenshot of the same operation in the available fields list?

There was wrong Operation on the template.

I choose Product and it's ok now.
