Resolved Exporting Fast Seller product types

Post the information requested under Looking for a useful answer at the top of this page. Without this, there isn't anything I can tell you. There simply isn't enough information other than it doesn't work.

Ok sorry but this could be related to the previous issue with duplicate fields.

I want to be able to export the fast sell product types that have been set to each product.

When I look to create a new template I have 3 options of such as product_type_name, product_type or product-type-parameters. I have tried all 3 but not getting the information I require. I have set all fields to export in the template but as previous post there are many duplicate fields.

I am running the following versions.
CSVI Pro: 6.4.1
Fast Seller plugin: 6.4.0 (updated yesterday)
Joomla: 3.4.5
Virtuemart: 3.0.12

Attached are the 3 exports I was able to create.

The files are not attached, perhaps need to zip them. Did you see the Fast Seller tutorials?

Thought that might have happened. I use a Mac so extensions not added to file names. Added all to .zip

It looks like the CSVI Fast Seller addon has not been installed, if that is the case, you can download the Fast Seller addon install it and the export should make more sense.

If that is already installed, make sure you also post the debug logs.

ok Installed Fast Seller again and also run the available fields.

I can see field options such as product_sku, product_type_name.

But it appears that I am getting duplicate fields again as I see 2 product_id and id.

If I select all and try and export I just get the top row. I deleted the duplicate fields in case they were causing the other fields not to export.

So I checked my installation and the field id can be duplicate depending on which table it is in. You can see that in the list of Maintenance -> Available Fields. The last column shows which table they are in. The id and product_id fields are fixed in the product type names table.

This now starts to ring a bell here. If you have 36 different product type names, you will get 36 times the id field. It would make me wonder why you would have 36 product type names.

Just to get an idea of what you are working with, what have you setup in FastSeller already?

Actually I only have 2 product types with 3 parameters with each up to 16 filters for each parameters. These have been assigned to about 120 products.

Thinking of reducing parameters to just 2 which is why I wanted to export them before I deleted them just in case I need to reload them.

I only see 2 options but as you say they could be for each product type but in the quick add pop up you don't see the addition columns.

As I mentioned earlier, you don't have to worry about these duplicates, these are expected.

Correct, but as mentioned, you can ignore the id fields. You shouldn't need them anyway as CSVI handles those automatically.

That is not odd because the id fields are unselected by default, you need to tick the box to show id fields. In general you shouldn't have to deal with fields ending with id.

So looking at the export when doing a product type names export you would use these fields

"product_sku","product_type_name"

and add the additional fields you want to export for example Category and Collection (taken those from your screenshot). Does that give you any output?
