Just purchased CSV Improved 6.1.1.pro to upload products to my new virtuemart.3.0.9.4 on Joomla Joomla! 3.4.3.

Now I am not a developer but can follow documentation. Where is the documentation for CSV Improved 3?
All documentation applies to previous versions and just does not translate.

I wish to Export the the installed VM with sample data, that way I can work on the required CSV file to import.

Its all very well the documentation saying …
Creating the template

First we will create an export template in which we can store all our preference. Let's call the export page:

• Go to Components
• Go to CSVI / CSVI Pro
• Click on Process
But there is no Click on Process!

Also creating a template, adding template fields does not work, I have a search field but does not search.

There seems something very wrong with my configuration.

Error:
Unfortunately, there are no fields set for this template. Now I don't know what to export. Go to Templates -> Template fields and add the fields you would like to export.

Message
vmdebug $siteLang: en-GB self::$_jpConfig->lang en_gb fb en_gb

Where do I go from here?

Hello,

Its all very well the documentation saying …
Check the Getting started page, this has the links to the CSVI 6 information. This also has a link on how to create a template in CSVI 6.

Where is the documentation for CSV Improved 3?
Changing all the documentation is a lot of work and is in progress. Just keep an eye on the Getting started page I linked earlier, this has the links to the CSVI 6 documentation.

Let me know if you have any further questions.
Kind regards,

RolandD

Hello,

My CSVI-Edit template page does not give me the menus
Click the Save button and they will show up. The other tabs are dependent on what you fill in for the Operations. So when you start a new template, it won't know what to load. Once saved, it knows exactly what to show.

RolandD

I should have said.
It has been saved, that is the next page after 'save'
'Details' button has mouse over but does not link.
If I 'save close' then try 'edit', nothing happens
Also now cant seem to save template!

Hello,

I see something weird happens when you select the template and use the Edit button in the toolbar. Click on the template name directly, do you then see what you expect?
Kind regards,

Not sure what has happened but let's reset CSVI, the template will remain. Go to Maintenance -> Tasks and click Reset and confirm. Now go to Maintenance -> Available Fields and click Update. After that is finished see if you can open the template by clicking it's name.
Kind regards,

RolandD

No Go,
Go to Maintenance -> Tasks and click Reset CANOT confirm. Now go to Maintenance -> Available Fields and click Update > This works
No change, cant open Template.

Should I re-install the whole thing or is it a conflict?

click Reset CANOT confirm
This sounds like you have a JavaScript conflict. A few things you can check:
  1. Does the folder administrator/components/com_csvi/layouts exist?
  2. Does it make a difference if you turn off the VirtueMart debugging?
  3. If you know how, check in the Inspector of your browser if you have any JavaScript errors in the console tab.
If none of this gives anything, I will send you a new installation package and we can see if that helps.
Kind regards,

RolandD
