Resolved Export of product description (multiline)

Hello,

I am exporting VM products for excel/csv.
My product description is multiline, so on opening in Excel the product description is not added in one field but in multiple lines.

How can I fix this to add like a line-break?
Or is there any other solution?

Hello Sigrid,

There are 2 things you could do. First, the easiest, is to use a OpenOffice/LibreOffice as it will interpret the linebreaks as they should. The second option is to create a rule to replace the linebreaks with something else like a space.

The rule will need to be a regular expression where you look for \r\n and replace it with a space for example. Do know this will cause you to lose the linebreaks.
