Hi,

I would like to use your component to export a csv with users from my site.

Currently I have extra fields on the user profile created with easyprofile (which extends joomla users). but they dont appear under 'field name' in csvi to be able to add them to the export, im not sure if custom is what I need?

Also I have a mailing list with custom fields created in acymailing, would it at all be possible to combine data from both components and export?

Your help would be much appreciated!

Hello Jimmy,

That is to be expected because CSVI doesn't support easyprofile.

With the custom table export you can export data from any one table. If you know where easyprofile stores this information you could export it using the custom table export. However, this will not include the user data. So you would have to combine the files yourself. One thing I am wondering as well, most likely easyprofile has the data stored encoded, so it will be exported encoded as well.

Also I have a mailing list with custom fields created in acymailing, would it at all be possible to combine data from both components and export?
This is not supported either because CSVI has no support for Acymailing nor for custom fields. So again you can use the custom table export but this is only for 1 table at a time. All the logic of multiple components doesn't exist in CSVI.

The only way to do so is to write your own addon for CSVI.
Kind regards,

RolandD
