Hello,

I'm a new user of csvi and I'm searching a solution to have link on product in my export, it will be easier for clients to clic on a link and buy the product.
Is it possible and if yes where is the option ?

Thx for answers and have a nice day

Hello Eric,
Try exporting field product_url, this field will export current product url from your site. Let me know if that is what you are looking for.
Kind regards,

Tharuna

Hello,
There are two ways i can think of, first option is you can try writing rules for adding hyperlink to product_url field using regular expression. The replacements document will explain on how you can create and set a rule. But I am not sure how much this would work as i haven't tried it.

Second option is you can create a override routine for product export and in the override file you can write your own custom code for product_url field so it is wrapped with hyperlink tags.

Let me know if it helps.
Kind regards,

Tharuna

Hello,

You cannot make links work in a CSV file as the CSV format is a flat file and has no notion of HTML tags. The only way would be if you export your file as HTML file instead of CSV.

As a simple example, create a link in a spreadsheet and save it as CSV, see what the result is.

Hello,

We are not planning any native XLS support however I think that Excel can open HTML files, so perhaps you could use that as an alternative. I haven't tried it but it might be possible.
Kind regards,
