Hello, I've recently bought CSVI PRO 6.0 RC1 and I've installed it with a Clean Installation.
I'm using it with Virtuemart 3.0.9 and Joomla 3.4.3.

If I try to export/import Virtuemart product all works correctly using standard fields (product_name, product_sku etc...), but when I try to export/import using "Custom Field" Fields ("custom_title";"custom_value";"custom_param";) I receive attached errors.

In the second image attached is shown Option tab of Export Template.

My Export/Import templates are Component -> Virtuemart and Operation -> Product

I installed correctly plg_csviext_param_csvi_6.0rc1 and plg_csviaddon_customfilters_csvi_6.0rc1 and I've published it.
I've also tried to Update Field in Avaible Fields (Maintenance) before export/import.

I've also correctly bought and installed "Virtuemart 2 Product Filter by Custom Fields" for Joomla 3.

I created the Custom Field correctly using this guide.

I use CSVI with Joomla 2.5 since 2 years importing custom field values without problem, but with CSVI 6 I receive there errors using the same configuration and settings

How can I solve this errors? Thanks

Hello,

Which fields are you exporting?
Kind regards,

I get attached error only when I try to export fields "custom_title";"custom_value";"custom_param". When I try to export only fiels such as product_name, product_sku etc all works ok.

When I try to import "custom_title";"custom_value";"custom_param" fields the import doesn't show error but products imported doesn't has Custom Field (He does not write the value of the custom field despite being present in csv).

Hello,

I believe I have found the issue you are facing and attached is a patch file. You can load the patch file and run the export again. Let me know how it goes.

As for your import issue, please start another thread and supply the necessary information as requested at the top of this page for me to look at.

After applying the patch error does not appear, but the exported fields are not correct:

custom_param = n=""|s=""|ft=""|t=""|m=""|af=""|av=""|ld=""|z=""|
custom_value = Disponibilità (OK)
custom_value = (empty)

Can you see it in attached file .csv

In CSVI for Joomla 2.5 (where all works ok) I have this values for fields in import file:

custom_param = Non venduto
custom_value = Disponibilità
custom_value = param

So your patch doesn't solve this problem for export template.

So your patch doesn't solve this problem for export template.
Actually it does because you no longer see the error. That you have empty fields now is another issue, I will look into this and get back to you.
Kind regards,

RolandD

So you said, it doesn't export the right values for you. Now I am a little surprised because I used your file to import the custom fields and export them after creating a custom field of the same type. That gave me the export you are looking for.

After you installed the CSVI 6.0.1 see if you still have the issue, if so, private message me login and FTP details for your site and I will take a look.
Kind regards,

RolandD

Hello rolandd,
thanks for your work but I still have issues:

- If I import import_error.csv that contains ("custom_title";"custom_value";"custom_param";) I have this error:

An error has occured during the import. Below the information received from the server.
You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near '' at line 1 SQL=INSERT INTO `lftop_virtuemart_product_custom_plg_param_values`

- If I import import_ok.csv now there aren't errors.

- Export: same previous situation

custom_param = n=""|s=""|ft=""|t=""|m=""|af=""|av=""|ld=""|z=""|
custom_title = Disponibilità (OK)
custom_value = (empty)

If can be useful, when I click to Update Custom Fields I ever see:

[...]
cf_customfields not an available table
cf_customfields not an available table
Available fields have been added for table categories
Available fields have been added for table categories

I'll upload site on-line and I'll send you FTP and login details.

Hello,

I am having the same issue. Export field custom_param contains n=""|s=""|ft=""|t=""|m=""|af=""|av=""|ld=""|z=""| rather than expected parameter. How did you resolve this?

Thanks!

Hello,

Did you install the Product Filter custom field plugin? This is required for CSVI to know how to handle this specific field.
Kind regards,

RolandD

:blush: Oops! I had installed the incorrect parsing extension. That did the trick.

Thank you for the super quick support, and for not laughing at my stupidity!
